Chamber’s Legislative Agenda
Each year, the Chamber conducts an Annual Legislative Survey to the Chamber membership asking what legislative issues have the biggest impact on their business. The Government Affairs Committee of the Chamber then uses the member’s survey responses to frame our Annual Legislative Agenda.
The Legislative Agenda was developed to document the Chamber’s attention on items most critical to our nearly 1,000 member businesses. Tackling these issues ensures that the Greater Binghamton area moves towards an even more prosperous business climate.
The mission of the Chamber is to serve as the premier resource for business development in the Greater Binghamton region, to serve as a partner with our members and to help them acquire the means to thrive. Our aim is to support the existing local business community and the attraction of new businesses to the region through member-driven programs and services, the development of strategic community partnerships and effective political advocacy.
