Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce is now recruiting candidates for the BLI Class of 2009.  The program begins on September 26, 2008 with an outdoor team-building retreat and finishes up in mid-March 2009. Only 20 diverse applicants are accepted.

The Broome Leadership Institute (BLI) is sponsored by the Greater Binghamton Chamber and 2009 will mark the 21^st Anniversary of this program.  BLI is a community program that takes people with leadership drive, motivation and commitment and gives them the contacts, skills and knowledge they need to assume leadership roles in community organizations or elected positions. A committee of BLI advisory Board members will make the selection based on the completed application and review.
